Fiberglass Mesh (Marble Slab Reinforcement)

Fiberglass mesh is used in combination with epoxy or polyester resins to protect Marble  (http://www.lightemprador.com)  Slabs  (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com)  against breaking, impact and  (http://maplered.com)  bending stress. This technique is known as "netting" and  (http://maplered.com)  is widely used to reinforce or to recover Marble  (http://www.lightemprador.com)  Slabs  (http://www.VerdeUbatuba.com) , both manually and  (http://maplered.com)  automatically. The meshes used for this application are produced in several widths in order to match Marble  (http://www.lightemprador.com)  slab dimensions, thus reducing scraps.
